Convocation 2022
Deep Dive Sessions
In this deep dive, co-presenters Trebbe Johnson and Alison Cornish offered the opportunity to experience rituals to lament, celebrate, and offer mindful attention to the places and species we love that are endangered.
This session offered an immersive theater experience focused on climate change, as Meghana AT performs excerpts from her original show — with audience participation encouraged!
This session, led by Rebecca Kneale Gould, focused on chant as a space of contemplation in the Judeo-Christian tradition — a practice where new openings and insights often arise, helping us to recognize and articulate our hopes, our fears, and our spiritual longings.
In this session — inspired by Ched Meyers' and Elaine Enns' Healing Haunted Histories: A Settler Discipleship of Decolonization, the hearing voices movement, and Christian scriptural tradition — Eileen Gebbie led us in wondering about how spirits and Spirit are already teaching and guiding us through the troubled waters of climate change, white supremacy, and transphobia.
