Annual Reports

We are delighted to share The BTS Center’s 2023 Report to the Community, compiled with joy and shared with immense gratitude for all the ways you support, encourage, and enliven the work of this organization as we seek to cultivate and nurture spiritual leadership for a climate-changed world.

Please take some time to flip through the pages of this Report, scan its colorful images, and read the stories within — and as you do, please join us in giving thanks for a year of creative and meaningful programs, for a year of learning and exploration and growth, for a year of deepening, ever-expanding community.

Putting together a retrospective document like this is a labor of love — labor because there’s so much to sift through as we recall with appreciation so many inspiring moments over the past twelve months; and love because love is at the heart of our work, and love keeps us attuned to the things that matter most.

These few pages are inadequate to convey all that we want to share, but we’re glad to celebrate a few highlights from the more than thirty different programs we’ve developed and hosted over this past year, each one crafted with creativity and thoughtfulness and facilitated with care. We are grateful that hundreds and hundreds of you, from all over the United States and beyond, have accepted our invitation to attend a day-long retreat, to join a book discussion group, to take part in an extended learning community, to engage with our historically-rooted and reimagined Convocation, or to log in for a public conversation or online ritual. If our paths have crossed in one of these ways, we extend our gratitude. Thank you for sharing our vision of human hearts renewed, justice established, and creation restored.

We warmly invite you to join us in the weeks and months ahead as we continue to offer theologically grounded programs of continuing education and vocational-spiritual formation, all oriented toward our mission:  to catalyze spiritual imagination with enduring wisdom for transformative faith leadership.

If something within these pages inspires you, raises a question, or sparks an idea, we’d love to hear from you — please do not hesitate to reach out! We are so grateful to call you a friend of The BTS Center, and we look forward to connecting with you again soon.
