Rev. Diane Anderson is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and a graduate of Andover Newton Theological School. She holds a post-graduate certificate in Spiritual Direction from Boston College and is deeply rooted in spiritual formation and ecospirituality.
Diane is the co-founder and pastor of Chapel in the Pines, a Wild Church community in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she cultivates contemplative, creation-centered worship and spiritual practice in the natural world. She serves as a Kinship Circle Facilitator for The BTS Center’s EcoPreacher program, equipping faith leaders to respond to the spiritual and moral call of the climate crisis.
In addition, Diane serves as Director of Wellness and board member for Jane Does Well, a nonprofit supporting women navigating divorce, and as a member of the Committee on Ministry for the Metro Boston Association of the UCC, where she accompanies and discerns with candidates preparing for ordained ministry.
Diane is passionate about helping congregations listen deeply for God’s call in this climate-changed world and embody faithful, hope-filled responses within their communities. In her free time, she enjoys long walks in the woods with her rescue pup, Callie.
