Kristina Keefe-Perry, MA, MDiv. is committed to exploring the intersections of Earth justice, grief, and faith-full community.

A Quaker minister, Kristina serves ecumenically with the support of her Meeting. Trained as a geographer and market farmer, Kristina began her career working on USDA Community Food Security projects with the Community Alliance with Family Farmers in California. In partnership with the Ecology Center, she helped establish Berkeley’s curbside composting program before relocating to Rochester, New York, where she founded the Food Justice Initiative at the Northeast Organic Farming Association of NY (NOFA-NY). Her work connecting congregations with local farmers ultimately inspired her transition into theological education. She began her seminary studies at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and earned her Master of Divinity from Boston University, with an emphasis on chaplaincy and conflict transformation.

Kristina is a trained facilitator of Joanna Macy’s The Work That Reconnects and served as the founding Creation Care Coordinator for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts (TABCOM). In this role, she provided leadership for environmental and food justice initiatives, guiding congregations in aligning their physical spaces with their mission and values.

Kristina now serves as the Director of Christian Education at First Congregational Church in Somerville (UCC) and preaches across UCC, ABC, and Quaker congregations. As a facilitator, she utilizes collaborative frameworks, such as World Café conversations and Clearness Committees, to engage groups in meaningful dialogue, decision-making, and community building. She grounds her professional work in her daily life as a Certified Master Composter, backyard kale farmer, cyclist, paddler, wife, and mom.
