I was born and raised in Montréal, Québec, Canada. French and English are my first two languages. I studied Linguistics and Neuroscience in my undergrad, then pursued studies in Practical Theology for my Masters and Doctorate. I have been dancing since a young age.

I worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship for 10 years across Canada. I first started gardening when one of the IVCF fellowships got a plot in the community garden on the university campus. I met my husband through InterVarsity and we got married in 2014. We made a huge garden on our 20 foot balcony on the 12th floor of the apartment building and fell in love with urban agriculture. We now balcony garden and have a large plot in our neighbourhood community garden.

In 2019, I left InterVarsity and started working in Christian Community Development in Montreal at Christian Direction. I am the director of our downtown ministry called Innovation Youth. We work in Food Security and Urban Agriculture, cultivating space for children, youth and families to flourish in all aspects of life. The last 7 years have been a season of re-examining and reimagining faith and vocation. During this season, I have also met the Black Madonna, a powerful, liberative and mystical mentor I have been joyfully encountering.

I participated in Ecopreachers in 2024, and was introduced to the concept of ecofeminism through a new friend in my kinship circle. Ecofeminism has been a new source of life, providing a framework to interpret my faith and vocation. I have recently joined a research and reflection group on ecofeminism, filled with scholars, professors and practitioners. I am also part of a community of practice called Food, Faith and Farming.

I am delighted to join Ecopreachers again, now as a kinship circle facilitator!
