Rev. Konnie Vissers is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Currently, she teaches at Knox College–University of Toronto and Vancouver School of Theology in the areas of pastoral psychology, eco-theology, and ministry. Her PhD work considers how gardening as a spiritual practice bolsters resilience in children who face eco-anxiety and climate trauma. Konnie is currently living in Guelph, Ontario, where she runs Rooted: Centre for Theology and Eco-Justice, which provides theologically rooted and eco-justice-focused environmental education. In her spare time, Konnie enjoys hiking and spending time in nature with her husband, Grant, and three daughters..
