The Rev. Dr. Ron Wells has been a guiding presence in his community since his ordination as a United Church of Christ minister on February 10, 1985. For an incredible 26 years, he has served as the Senior Pastor of Union Congregational Church, offering hope and comfort to his congregation. His background as a Captain in the US Navy Reserve Chaplaincy shows his deep commitment to service, including a meaningful nine-month tour in Afghanistan, where he provided spiritual support in a challenging environment. Beyond his military service, Dr. Wells is also a retired Principal from New York City, changing many lives through education. He is proud to be the father of seven children and a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren. His life story stands as a testament to servant leadership, activism, and lifelong learning.
