Rev. Dr. Zaria Davis is a compassionate spiritual care provider, educator, and advocate dedicated to fostering healing, restoration, and transformation. An ordained minister with the United Church of Christ & The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries, she holds a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) from Capella University, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Eden Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wilberforce University, and a graduate certificate in Restorative Practice from the International Institute for Restorative Practices.
A certified restorative practices trainer and circles facilitator, Rev. Dr. Davis specializes in trauma-informed care and addressing harm. She is trained in Mental Health First Aid, is a Certified Peer Support Specialist, and Certified Community Health Worker, equipping her to guide others through challenging circumstances with empathy and expertise. Her passion lies in advocacy, focusing on the criminal legal system, interfaith dynamics, and workplace equity. Dr. Davis provides wellness planning, restorative practices training for individuals, faith-based organizations, and nonprofits as well as leadership development.
Rev. Dr. Zaria serves with the Council for Health and Human Service Ministries of the UCC as Associate for Membership & Engagement. This provides an opportunity to serve all the ministries of the UCC through programming, training, and support. Through New Direction Coaching & Consulting, LLC, Rev. Dr. Davis offers coaching, consulting, presentations, facilitation, and public speaking engagements nationwide. Zaria loved hiking, camping, and connecting through creation. She integrates her love for nature into her healing and wellness work, inspiring others to find balance and restoration in their personal and professional lives.
