Rev. Benjiman Durfee (he/him) is a United Methodist Licensed Local Pastor currently serving Trinity Church in Shelburne Falls, MA, a federated church affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the American Baptist Church, the United Church of Christ, and the Episcopal Church. Ben received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from UMass Amherst and began his career as a church musician and choir director serving in both United Methodist and Catholic Churches. Licensed for pastoral ministry in 2023, Ben is currently enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Garrett Seminary as he purses ordination as a UMC Elder. He serves as the Past-Chair of the New England UMC Creation Care Circle and joined EcoPreacher in 2025. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, thrifting, singing, and playing the piano. He lives in Shelburne Falls with his partner, Tyler, and two cats, Suzie and Whitacre.
