Rev. Karen Hutt is a long-time Unitarian Universalist minister and educator. She has served as a religious educator, museum professional, outdoor science educator, and church planter. For the last 20 years, she has dedicated her work in ministry to chaplaincy, serving in prisons and seven large metropolitan hospitals in trauma and pediatric oncology. She is currently a Clinical Pastoral Educator with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), where she facilitates groups of residents for the Veterans Administration and Interns for the JED Center. She is the founder of the Chaplain Treehouse, an online community for chaplain support and innovation. She is constantly seeking new pathways for chaplaincy and social care to extend beyond traditional settings.
