For more than 30 years, Glenn Page has worked at the intersection of science, policy, and practice to create pathways for place-based transformation across coasts, oceans, and watersheds. Trained as a restoration ecologist, he began his career designing and building natural systems—including dunes, rivers, wetlands, and forests—with a focus on ecosystem function, equivalency, and evaluation. His interdisciplinary background in marine science and evaluation has shaped a career dedicated to addressing complex social and ecological challenges through systems thinking and innovation. As Executive Director of COBALT and President/CEO of SustainaMetrix, Glenn leads interdisciplinary teams focused on navigating the challenges of the Anthropocene. His work integrates evaluation, strategic collaboration, and innovative problem-solving to address cross-scale “wicked” challenges facing communities, ecosystems, and organizations. Glenn is widely recognized for his ability to bridge disciplines, foster partnerships, and guide transformative initiatives that promote resilience, sustainability, and long-term impact.
