Rev. Eileen Gebbie is a queer Spiritual Director and Forest Therapy/Bathing Guide with a background in parish ministry and nonprofit administration (housing, sexual violence). The people who work with her (through Wisdom & Wilderness) are often seeking refuge from institutional Christianity or are grieving the collapse of our climate. Eileen’s spiritual sustenance comes primarily through the more-than-human world as well as the shared tears and laughter of people who gather around the deep wounding and violence (economic, political, social) of this time. She has two Labradors and is restoring a prairie in rural downstate Illinois with her wife.
