Erin Curren was born and raised in Manhattan and has lived in Maine since 2005. She works as a Transformational Life Coach and practices a form of improvisation called Playback Theater. Playback honors true stories told in the moment by audience members. Playback performances are collaborative, creative, community-building events designed to deepen connections between individuals and groups, and dissolve the illusion of separateness. Erin has performed Playback for the public on First Fridays as part of a troupe since 2008, and has offered over 45 solo Playback performances—online and in person—since 2023. She lives in Westbrook with her husband and dog.
