Hazel Knight
Hazel Knight is a seasoned digital strategist with a diverse background in both the digital and spiritual sectors. Currently serving as the a social media specialist for The BTS Center, Hazel brings over 20 years of experience to fostering meaningful online engagement and community building. With a focus on heart-centered content, Hazel has guided digital strategies for a variety of initiatives, including The Nature Talks, The Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, Extravagance UCC, and Agnes Scott College. Her expertise spans content creation, online organizing, and digital community management.
Beyond her digital work, Hazel is also a certified nature therapy guide, outdoor spiritual caregiver, and retreat facilitator. Hazel facilitated two cohorts of the Ecospiritual Leaders Online course for The BTS center. She leads eco-spiritual practices and nature-based retreats around the world, from The Netherlands where she lives with her wife and two dogs, to Germany’s Black Forest, to Arkansas and right here in Maine. A graduate of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, Hazel brings a unique blend of digital expertise and spiritual insight, and a deep commitment to sustainable nature-connections, making her not only a skilled social media professional but also a thoughtful guide in helping individuals and organizations align their work with their values.
